The Lebanese Parliamentary Monitor (LPMonitor) is an information gateway for citizens to learn about their parliamentarians’ standpoints and their performance on public policy issues. It aims at promoting the culture of political responsibility and transparency through collecting and monitoring data on the activities and stances of each Member of Parliament (MP) since their election in 2005, and engaging citizens to use the information available and hold their parliamentarians accountable.

Methodology |
 |
| |
| |
The LPMonitor comprises both a team of outreach specialists and a team of researchers, who have collected and monitored information about the MPs’ work. The researchers set up almost a complete database on this topic, relying on a serious and academic methodology to collect, sort and verify information. The following paragraphs explain the adopted methodology, by underlining the main research elements, the type of information collected and the mechanism followed to monitor them, as well as their classification and the adopted sources and references.
